The quote in your thread was meant for Grover(chad)_ because he is moving up to Washington{state}.But you missed one heck of a crawl, hope you can make it down again soon!!!

Don't know if these rocks are still there or not, but a place to get some rocks for your personal rock piles:

no scale class? I know I am not even close to your region, but just cruising through and noticed there wasnt a scale class listed. Just curious, as a comp tlt will usual decimate a true to form scale rig.

Sorry for intruding, curiosity kills the cat!

I'm planning a scale FJ-40 Bruiser project, I just need a S.S. screw kit.

I agree a comp TLT will do in a TRUE scale rig (not a comped out TLT w/a scale looking body).

Crawlerman, we have talked about adding a scale class, but no one here has built a scaler yet that I know of.
Sorry to dig up an old thread, but-

I'd be very interested in starting up a scale class...My TLT is closer to scale than a competition based rig, and with a little more work it would be scale.

Would the 3-4 people that seem interested be enough to start up a class?

I just met chad at the goldendale Wa comp. I just got into crawling about a month before the event. One thing I have to say about chad is he is a really cool guy. He was ready to give advice and teach me somethings without that "I'm cooler than you" attitude that some people have. I was really glad to meet him and am looking forward to crawling with him again.
