I am thinking about running the 2.2's and don't want to hack the body of my G6 up to use them. Same as Chad I like the width of the wraith for that purpose.

Sounds good. Another question. Can I run 2 different rigs in the scale comp?

You can run one in the long course and a different one in the short courses, but you have to stick with the same truck in all the short courses (per comp).

So if you ran a Wroncho this comp, you could run a Wraith the next one... but not a different one for each short course.

OK. I will probably just stick with 1 for all courses. Thanks for the info.

For national level events it was decided no wraith axles under an scx10 chassis. FYI

You can still run a narrowed AR60 as long as its within a .500" of an SCX10 width? I am correct or is it absolutely no AR60's under a scx frame. (honestly don't see the point, but just checking)

So by the rules doing the XR mod on scx10 axles would not be legal?

Apparently it has to be a stock truck to be legal.

The only difference between the AR60 and the AX60 is that the AR60 is a straight axle correct? I know there is not a length difference

No.
The AX and SCX axles are the same. The AR60 axle is wider with an offset differential. The mounting points and geometry are also different.
