I had a great time there as well, I'll post up my pictures tonight. I went through the first 74 pictures last night, and I think I have 90 more to go. A few came out blury, as I had the shutter speed setting a little on the low side.

I think my 2.2 needs more bling, aluminum rims and gold panels are not enough

I thought I lost a second wheel pin on my 2.2, turns out I broke my first axle! Not even sure what I did that caused it to snap.

Link to all of the pictures on my site :-P http://www.turtlecrawler.com/comps/1-07-07/

Rough night. Reviewing some of the videos to insure correct comp scoring as some of the people that saw their score said I was wrong, some were right. I'll have them up later tonight. The 3 hour drive was rough I only got like 3 hours of sleep that night as I was helping Soya wrench. Sucks that ranger was watching us wishing we would leave and said that we will not be allowed back. I had no reverse which sucked. Mcbride was flooded. Bridge snapped apart before I could get it on the course. The comp area was rainy windy and cold. The battery in the van stopped working today while my mom was at work. It could have been much much worse though.

It still blew the pants off any other normal day. I still had a hell of time.

Took my super to a first place finish. second overall.

The after bash was great, lot of fun lines the rock was very grippy.

Lots of normal attendees and the rare people. It was a big comp possibly the biggest yet. If we have more of this size we might have to start earlier.

Lots of participation, lots of scorer people, a few people helped with the courses and so forth made my job alot easier.

Lots of cool trucks, it was great to see peoples new trucks.

It was an awesome time and despite being the coldest day in a long time, I htink everyone enjoyed themselves to an extent! If the comp at jetboat's place in Ill is an MWRCA event we will possibly see people from missourri and Indiana competing which would be a lot of fun too, cant wait for the next one. What are we shooting for as far as a rough time frame so I can get a truck done? I would say do a march one like last year, at least I think we had out first one in March..?

There is a full schedule of this seasons comps up on the MWRCA website. The locations are not decided on yet, but the dates are. They have one each month.

Ben, grats on your win with the Super Also I didn't catch the reason for not having reverse on your 2.2, was it a backup racing ESC or did your ESC burn out the reverse?

Yes an earlier start we didn't start comping untill after 1:00pm. At the first place we didn't walk down there untill noon.
I have my fingers crossed I did better than the last comp. It'll be close though.

i agree with you guys,
an earlier start would be good with that many
drivers.
i think ben and his bro did a good job with the time
that we had.wish we could have run the bonus gate for 2.2.

the after bash was pretty cool.
my hands got so cold i could not even feel the transmitter
in my hands but i was having too much fun.

the drive was a little long, but....
had an awsome time.

Don't know, I was racing my B4 buggy at the track with my MX-3 radio last week. I may have used that model number by mistake and changed it so it no longer was programmed to my ESC in the TLT. I'm running a Quark brushless setup, it seems very sensitive to changes like that. I reprogramed the ESC right before my run, I played around with the radio adjustments it didn't change anything so i just said screw it and ran. Doesn't matter much, I still managed to hold the 1st place comp series score.

Sweet, I still managed to place 3rd with my Juggy, even after falling into the crack and taking a rollover near the end of the course.

I am sure we will be back for another comp once the weather warms up.
