I went crawling yesterday out by the Dam in Oregon. Nothing special, rocks were not very big but they were on the face of a hill. Yeah, just noticed that there is no axle shafts, looks like even Tamiya is out of them. Might pick up another TLT just to have as spare's. Or if we need to I can steal one from the scale truck or weld it up. Bought all the supplys for a rope bridge today. This one won't be as portable as the last. But, it still has to fold to fit in the car. For Mcbride it should work ok. |

The gears in my servo just went poof all of a sudden, and to think there was brand new gear set I installed right be for the last comp. Last time I'm going to be using the Hitec 5645mg for the tuber. Gear sets are $18 I've replaced it once so it will probably go again, time for something new. I hate buying servos all the time.:-x I've got the rope bridge nearly complete, I have to pick up more lumber today. It's awesome to drive on it though it curves and rocks when you drive on it similar to those playground bridges. Zachs tuber had a alot of bugs, the esc was programed backwards it would cut out after so many seconds of going forwards. Steering was really binding up, after further inspection we found the Fat rock c-hubs to be the problem. The knuckles slide up and down as the knuckles machined pivots are to small. I think I might put a different trans in the bruiser as the gear parts are just to hard to locate. Ordered more of them 1500 elite packs so I can keep driving. They are the websites best selling 2/3a cells. Like I say they put the 1400's to shame. |

I just got my set from crawler store. Not many people have mashers in stock. Ben the weldedaxles have yet to break. They might be stronger than stock. Any one have the part number for the long axle/cups? |

I don't know, Mnster and his brother are running some. I want the stance and threads through the holes.

Well, I use the TG10 rears. They don't add any width, but they do have many more threads sticking out of the nut. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGM26&P=7 |

Maybe I'm a retard for thinking they added width. Wasn't there a vendor selling some that add 1/4 to each side? |

Blackfoot axles make the truck wider.

The caves will allways be a good alternative. As they are caves and fairly well protected. We are sapose to get rain mmix thursday. Then next monday 40's again. I don't think snow will becoming to rain on the parade. Last edited by Cole82; 12-18-2006 at 10:07 PM. |
