That was a big ole wet comp... But it was fun! I want to say a few things about it, but first and most importantly, I need to recognize and thank Jonathan (crazyboutcrawling).
He took on scale today and worked out to the end. He even missed his shafty courses. He took some heat for a bad course I built, kept things moving and did a really good job. Thanks bro!

All right... If you didn't make it, here's the scoop. We had a bunch of hard core people who came out and weathered the day to make this the biggest comp we have had in a long time. The weather didn't make things easy, as it rained pretty much all day. Everyone stuck it out to the end though. If this was your first time... keep coming back. It just keeps getting better.

We had people here from Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and of course TN. Thank you ALL for coming.

On the scale side of things... we have a few growing pains to work through, but every time we have a comp it should get smoother. I apologize for that course everyone was cussing me for Like I said, I'm not a scale guy. Next time, maybe a couple of scale drivers can come for course building and help Jonathan out

SO... everything is wet. The scoresheets are all stuck to the clipboards, but fortunately they are still legible. I'm going to put a fan on everything and let it dry out tonight and sort through and post the scores tomorrow throughout that day.

Thanks again everyone for coming and starting this season off with a sloshy bang!

Alright guys had a blast....it was a wet and fun day with some awesome courses and of course some awesome folks....want to say thanks to harvo for welcoming us all from different states and jonathan for sticking with the scale course amd the the few vendors for the raffles and everyone that build, scored, and keep time on the courses even in the rain....cant wait to do it again.....

I must say, I miss this stuff Soooo much! Had a great time sploshing and splashing around in the rain running toy trucks! A great big thank you to everyone who gave parts for the raffle and a huge thanks to Tain4x4 for the wide XR tubes, they will be put to good use very soon! Thanks to everyone who judged, timed, built courses, and just plain showed up, if it wasn't for all of you ETRC would not exist! Had a Great time and the OttSix Voodoo tires really surprised me at the traction they provided in the wet conditions, really impressed with them. I enjoyed meeting all the new people and had a blast running with you Alamo71, for your first comp you showed me that you will soon be a driver that will be hard to beat, great job! Hope everyone makes it home safe and hope to see you next month, same ETRC time, same ETRC locations.... getting Crunky ETRC Style... Big Papa Rockpayne out!!!!
