OCK Winter Series 2014/2015 round 3

Off Camber Krawlers hopes everyone has a happy and safe Christmas and New Years.
we look forward to seeing everyone on January 11th @ RC Madness 101 North st in Enfield Ct.
Doors open @ 9:00.
Tech @ 10:15/10:30
Drivers meeting @ 10:35
First course start by 10:45
Please try to be on time.

The Club has moved the comps from Sat to Sundays since a good portion of members had to work sorry Jay I know this puts you out.The Club apoligizes for any inconvenience this brings.

We will be running
2.2 Pro ,Shafty Pro, Novice Shafty (if there are enough new poeple) and Run what you brung classes..
3 courses per class.

Truck rentals for shafty class are available.
This is open to all skill levels of driving.
we are here to just have fun and help each other out.

$10 per class except for Run what you brung Class.(wraith/scaler)

I'm planning on coming down with a car full of Vermonters and am trying to get my directions in order. I don't have anything better to go off of than Mapquest, but I am leary in trusting it. I don't have GPS or a fancy cell phone. I did print off a map of the immediate area.

I was hoping a local could either confirm, or correct, the following directions. I'll be coming southbound on I91. then....

take the CT-220/Elm St exit, EXIT 48, toward Thompsonville for .2mi.

Turn left onto CT-220/Elm St for 1.1mi.

Turn right onto Elm St for .6mi.

Take the 2nd right to stay on Elm St for 1.0mi.

Turn left onto North St for 1.2mi.

101 NORTH ST is on the left

I appreciate any advice or suggestions. I figure I'll leave at 6:30 AM since it's a 3 hour drive and I have to pickup a few other participants.

Wow I am glad everyone can make it down.the directions look good to me.once on elm st you will keep going straight past all the shopping plazas.when you see a Walgreens take the right and follow that threw two lights.take your next right after the big highscool on your right.follow that rd to the 4 way intersection and take a left.RC Madness will be on your left just look for the outdoor track . parking is on both sides of the building.any problems give me a call.

OCK would like to thank everyone for coming to todays event. It was nice to see some old faces from the Boston Crawlers crew, and meet all of the new guys that came from Vermont :o .Thanks for coming down from New Hampshire aswell Cory . It was to bad you forgot your radio ,but I am glad mine worked out for you. To bad that ended up with you breaking a rim in the long run. I will keep the radio settings in there just incase for next time ;) .We were definitely glad you guys made the trip down. Sorry It was a little hectic with adding in the new classes. We will have to get a little more official next time round..I didn't get a chance to take alot of pics but I did manage to get 4 . If anyone has any more pics please feel free to post them up. We all hope everyone had as good of a time as we did. OCK looks forward to seeing everyone on Feb 1st for round 4 of the winter series.

listen....its not a day of crawling for me if i dont break something shitty it was a one off wheel ...but i got my machinist to re construct one for me hes almost done with the cad and ill def be at the next one ill just make sure not to have to fire up the pellets so i dont forget to go upstairs for the radio next time had a great time either way i just enjoy hanging out with you guys even if im not driving

Sorry I have not had the time to do the points.I will try and get them done and posted tomorrow. I am glad everyone had a good time I know I did.very nice to hang out with everyone aswell its been awhile. We def need to get the wifes/girlfriends together sometime.

The next comp is feb 1st same time same place for round 4. It is a little cold first thing in the morning but it does heat up threw out the day..Please keep in mind that the Scale guys will be starting up there winter series which runs every sunday by then .So we might not have access to the scale side to run what ya brung. The scale club will definitely let anyone with a scaler run with them.

Awesome! Is there a schedule for the scale guys, is it a certain time on sunday? I run pretty much scalers only.

I do not belive that they are on this site. Unfortunately I do not know there schedule.They are on Facebook tho. Look up RCM Scale truck club . There should be some info there that can help you out .
