Itinerary and locations

All times are mountain standard time (same as salt lake)

We will actually be comping in Nevada and your phones might want to change to Navada time so be aware of this.

I will use this thread for updates during the comp weekend so please keep an eye on this thread so I can let you know what is going on.




Please Tech your cars ASAP.

I will try to be around Friday all day during 2.2S for this and that would be the ideal time to do them all IMO (Need to do at least the 2.2S if youre running Friday). I will also plan on being in the Best Western Plus lobby doing Tech Friday night. If we could get most done during those two times, that would be great and then finish up Saturday morning for the slackers.

The locations of where the exact comp spot will held secret in order to preserve fairness and to possibly have zero pre running. This is the goal.

I know this is somewhat inconvenient but its not a huge place and you should be able to find us with in a couple of minutes. All days will have different spots.

Here is a map of the area:



The map probably looks a bit confusing if you have never been here. I promise it will make total sense once your in town and see how small things are.

To get to the above area from "downtown" Wendover, head west on the main street. You will pass "Wendover Will" (big tall cowboy smoking a cigarette)and then go for a mile or 2. You will see the large rock when you get to "Wendover Will" ahead towards the west. Right when you are on the west side of the rock, you will see your very first dirt road. Take that. You will know your on the right road because there is a "no shooting" sign that is all shot up. Once youre on this dirt road you can pretty much start driving anywhere. Its all good driving. Most of the best stuff is right when you leave the highway.

7:30 Drivers Meeting
8:00 Start
We will drive till everybody is done with the first round of courses and then have lunch. While everybody has lunch, the judges will run the first round of courses. After that, second round of courses is awn.

Awards time will be determined by the time we finish. I would like to do it Saturday night after we are done, but if there is not time/daylight, it could be at the Hotel or Sunday morning. Like I said above, keep an eye on this thread.

Yeah, a bit late of a start. Should be good though. I wont be able to be out there until late morning Friday. Hopefully its just a chill day.
