I would recommend you try this link. Is this a crawler motor for the C.C. ? Post #116 on the above post will give you an idea of what to do to install. The Banebots are longer motors! These motors will start breaking stuff! They also run on the stock speed control. I'm running the banebot motors. They are $3.50 each $6.00 shiping. Then you start breaking stuff. This is the sight and this is the link for the motors. http://banebots.com/pc/MOTOR-BRUSH/M5-RS390-12 |

They also run on the stock speed control. The banebot motors will cause problems with the stock esc, I had them instaled with 2.2's and a 12.5 wheelbase on my truck. Initial testing on the small pile showed some promise and no problems. When I got out and did some real crawling the motors caused the esc to go into thermal shutdown after about 15 minutes. I would say that the limit on the stock esc is any 380 size motor, the banebots motors are 390's. I went back to the stock motors and have not had an issue with thermal shutdown. The best answer to upgrade motors would be to run the EVX esc. As a side note the stock motors are not to bad with the 2.2's and the 12.5 wheelbase, not to much clod stall, better than stock. |
