Darn, I wish I saved up for a DX3R now... finding a case for my MX3FG 2.4 is going to be hard... I'll have to make my own.

I feared for the life of my 3R when I bought it as the comps I go to are all 3+ hours from me.

After looking at the avaialble cases I went to big5 and got a hard case for carrying 4 pistols in. Spent 10 minutes trimming the foam and I had spots cut for my 3R, spare batteries and my charger - only spent like $25 on the case itself.

I did what "bowtie"did today and it is great, not to mention about $25 bucks cheaper than the actual spektrum case is,with no shipping.

i like the venom case cuz its not that much bigger than the radio it self. i have enough crap to carry around. last thing i need is another trip to the car for a big boxy thing just fora radio. JMO im sure most people dont lug around as much stuff as i do. for example 2 1/10 onroad, 2 tamiya M class, 2 rc 18r's, 1 MRC, 2 2.2 crawler, 1 microt, 1 micro rock crawler plus t big plastic container to support the models... yes i know i bring too much shit with me

its up to the owner of the $300 radio. If he or she trusts that a $25 price difference between the hard and soft cases is goin to protect their investment after it falls and breaks they will probably have a change of mind!
