| Dx3r radio bag/case?
Getting out of the truck tonight I grabbed my laptop bag and the shoulder strap hooked my dx3r that was on the passenger seat. It sent it falling 4 + feet onto the ground out of my Tacoma :-( The radio still works but the radio itself almost cracked in half under the the trigger...I glued it, not sure what else I could other then send it in to get fixed. Needless to say I need a radio bag or case ASAP. Every other radio I have owned has always been in one...my z1 is in one right now... Does anyone know of a radio bag or case for the dx3r? I tried googling, and ebay, no luck. Thanks in advance -Mike |

There are loads of generic aluminum cases out there for pistols and things like that. You can pick them up fairly cheap and cut the foam out however you want. Mine lives in the top compartment of my pit box.

I use this Integy bag for my DX3. Padding isn't quite as thick as I like, but it does the job nicely....never had an issue with damage: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXMUD3&P=7 |

I've seen the one Bowtie did, and thought it turned out very nice. I was planing on making a similar one, but I might just buy the ready-made one |

mine's been holding up pretty well. having a metal case like the spectrum unit will add more protection for your radio. | |

A Crown Royal bag should work well.

All those are too heavy and bulky, i want light for all my moving and racing needs. I found the DX3R fits pretty well into any bag for the Futaba 3PK series. I use a Speedmind one right now and its very nice. Cost $25 |

speedimind is a great bag, but do they have one that is precut to fit, or the universal?? I had one for my old M11 and it was one of the nicest soft cases I have seen....My 1200 pelican doesn't weigh that much...

| Pelican Cases
Look for Pelican Cases, My M11 has a great home in one and they are waterproof too. They are used for Camera Equipment and you can custom fit any electronics to slip inside the proper sized case. They are a little pricey but i figure its well worth it in case something terrible were to happen. I know you can find them at R.E.I. or any Camera Shop. Good Luck
