Default when is the Hitec servo coming out (HS-7950TH)

Does anyone know when the HS-7950TH servo is going to be at a main. It looks like a perfect servo for my berg. Does anyone think that 468 oz's of torque is to much for a crawler.

You might be waiting for a while there are very few prototypes out at the moment. More then likely you are getting sent a 7955 not the new 7950

I know that I'll be getting one of these. I had my 5995 for about three year now with no issues. Just got to convince the wife that I need three of them.

is it safe to run it at 7.4? i know that most if not all of there others are not safe to run that high without a very high risk of smoking it.

From reports i've heard, yes it is. If you can program the overload protection, it should never burn out.

Alright guys, there is already a post with all the current release information, that I posted a while back. I'll bump it back to the top.

But, yes, release date is June...at the moment. As with all proper test programs, we are just trying to be sure all the testing is thurough, and any bugs we find are addressed before we release.

Having one in my comp rig, I'll tell you I am impressed as hell so far. It is designed and built to take an "un-filtered" 2S li-po without burning out and so far, so good.

I am looking forward to continued testing in the high temps here in the desert before my testing report is complete though.

Keep an eye on the official thread for up dates: New Hitec HS-7950TG info

Learn to drive.

Not a bad idea to have a servo that could run straight from the main pack, but too bad it's not 3S capable, cause that'd kick butt.
