Unfortunately, no... it only has a 2-position 3rd channel. You could rig it so you have full 4WD or fully locked dig, but no freewheel...

Unfortunately no again That radio has only a 2 position 3rd as well... The DX3R is the one with the proper 3rd channel...

Many people try to skimp on the radio but it pays to buy a good one right off the bat because you'll probably use it in a multitude of other vehicles and they last forever if you treat 'em right. I've gone through multipe car/trucks but I've always used my trusty M11.

There is also the new Futaba 3PM-MX coming out that is designed specifically for crawlers and I believe it's around $170 or so.

I just got a dx3r and it works great, and I use it with all my rigs now. No glitching or interference with the 2.4. Main reason I got it.
You could always mod a Traxxas TQ3 to make it a 3 way. I did that before getting my spektrum and it worked just fine.

DX3 has a 3 way "momentary" 3rd position switch..My son runs a 3.0 and loves his. But his is on a berg and only runs front dig. So you can find an older dx3 and save yourself some money

The ko is said to only work with digital servos...

You can get a new dx3r for 270-290 or a used around 200
