| Re: Nomadio React Users...Lipo Battery Option
Happy to run lipo. Any suggestions for keeping the voltage suitable for the Nomadio? Is there something "off the shelf" ? Will the Nomadio handle the 6.6v LiFe without any mods? Basically, I'm not great with electronics and I'm looking for an easy option. Last edited by Shorty40; 04-25-2012 at 05:59 AM. |

| The very first post shows a voltage regulator and the extra plug added to the lipo.

Cool. I just figured I'd ask as the initial post is over 2 and a half years old.

| Re: Nomadio React Users...Lipo Battery Option I picked up one of these from East Coast RC, ecrchobbies, RC Rock Crawlers. its labeled "4PK Dry Cell Holder" but it work great on my Nomadio React. Only some VERY minor trimming to the radio case was needed to make it fit. |

Check post #9 for an estimate. But it would be 3-4 "comp days" at least before it would get to cutoff range. 400% longer run time than other listed options I tried. |
