How do you have your antenna wire ran? I tried mine wrapping mine around an old antenna tube so I could keep it under the body. My range was about 5 feet. I replaced the antenna tube with a standard length and ran the wire up through it like normal and now I have more range than I want with my VMG. Before you replace receivers, try a new antenna wire. Its cheap and relatively easy if you can solder.

you use 0.1nf caps. one, from negative to positive should be enough but tekin and novak recomend u put 2 more on it from negative to the can and from positive to the can. for diagrams go to teamtekin.com or teamnovak.com
