It's not really an issue with them.....any Internal BEC will function exactly the same. Also, the MMP was not designed specifically for crawling....it is more of a race ESC where motors don't stall often...

It's typical with almost every ESC out there.. They just can't handle the amps that crawler servos are taking these days. Holmes Hobbies has an ESC that puts out 5amps.. Some folks have been able to run that without an external BEC. But even with that ESC a lot of folks are still running an external BEC.

ok well then i dont feel as bad now, which is a better servo the stock axial which came in my ax10 rtc or the spektrum Z590 High torque race servo that came with my transmitter and receivers DX3.0

Well, the Spektrum only has 85 oz-in of torque...I believe the stock AS-2 servo has ~130 oz-in of torque. Both have metal gears.
