Default Brushless motor

Do you have to run a different ecu for a brushless motor? If so why?

It depends on the ESC. Some will run brushless and brushed. Some will only run brushed.

Here's the thread where "nipple chuugga" called the scale sections a mall parking lot and went on to brag about his tons of RC trophies (which should come with all kinds of "ECU" knowledge) after admiting he doesn't even own a crawler. Somewhere in there his first build is gonna blow everything on this site away. Or cliffs=troll.

And here's this weeks thread of the week where rooktakesqueen says we overpay for ESC's (plus that anything more than 2s is a waste) and he can build one for $10.
4S setup

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I wondered how long it would take for someone to actually post in this thread after the OP's thread in the scale section. "nipple chuugga" Rooktakesqueen spouts his crap about being cheap in the LCC section all the time. Its to the point that I dont even read his ramblings anymore because I'm tired of shaking my head. I'm still waiting for the build thread for his $10 esc... so I can see something catch fire.

Nope. Pretty sure the phenomenon has occurred in 2 different states. Maybe they were separated at birth and somehow the cosmos aligned to bring them together on our forum.
