| RC4WD Winch making noise and shaking.
I did a search on the RC4WD winch and found a few others have had a problem close to mine, but no one has ever answered the question on what is causing the problem. I have ran the 3R winch and have not had this problem. When I plug in the winch every thing is fine. I did have to set my trim on my radio to keep it from creeping. No big deal though. The problem is that after I use it to go in or out and then stop the winch, it starts shaking and making a terrible noise. It will stop freaking out when I unplug the battery. If plug it back in, there is no problem until I try to use the winch again. What do I do too stop this? I am using a 4PK and have the winch plugged directly into my RX. |

It sounds to me like the controller is acting up. You have trimmed out the creeping, but the motor must still be getting power for it to make noise. If it dies on you, maybe give one of my controllers a try. The HV Winch Controller The Standard Voltage Winch Controller |

Well, you were right. I changed out the controller for one of your's that I had already ordered and the winch now works just like it is supposed too. Thanks |
