Ummm.....did you recalibrate the ESC to the radio?? Did the rig work before with the old ESC? What radio? What rig? Are your batteries charged? Any lights on anything? |

no i didnt know about recalibrating the radio. yes the rig worked with previous motor/esc. its a towerhobbies radio on a custom built rig. all batteries are charged and i know i have power cuz 2 light are lit on the bottom of the esc and the cooling fan runs, also my steering servo operates just no motor movement. thanks

Well, try calibrating the ESC to the radio. It varies between manufacturers. Some have you hold a "set-up" button when you power on. Others have you hold full throttle when powering up. Read your directions and try it. Most also want you to have the throttle trim set to "0" and throttle EPA's set to 100% (in the TX). As to the steering working, it only needs the RX powered up and a command signal from the TX. Read this thread.....there is an offer on how to set up the ESC (post #8 ).
