I've bought batteries from:

Hobbypartz
Value Hobby
Hobby King

All three companies were great to deal with and have good prices, also i've never had a bad lipo from these companies.

CBP.....AKA CheapBatteryPacks.com

One advantage is that you can get pretty much any connector you want on them, so if you have oddball stuff, you can order what you want.

Started off with Turnigys from hobbyking. They work ok. I've had some good and bad ones. Sucks because I have to solder on deans and their wires are bigger gauge. Warranty is iffy.

NOW I use only Maxamps. Yes the prices are much higher. BUT....do a comparison. The batteries come with a better warranty, higher C rating, waterproofed, connectors of your choice already soldered on (plug and go), re-wraps if your batteries look tired and did I say better C ratings?

Depends on your needs.

I have everything from 2S 350 mAh packs, to 3S 2200 mAh packs, to 2S 8000 mAh packs.

I totaly agree..

But for me , I don't have a local Hobby Store ..
Closest one for me is 50miles round trip..
and they would'nt have what I'm looking for anyhow...

If I went in there and mentioned RockCrawling ..
They'd think , I was talking about crawling on my hands and knees across a rocky field while drunk . .

That's just the way it is in Ireland . . .

People laugh because I'm diferent , I smile because there all the same ....

Ususally heli direct or maxamps but I have been thinking about hobbypartz lately. Some of these cheaper lipos seem to be holding up well and who doesnt want tro save some money.
