Default Hobbywing ESC Trouble

Hey everyone i have an issue that is really main me angry!
I had ordered a hobbywing 25a esc to use on a build of mine and i finally recieved it in the mail today! So excitedly i went and read the instructions and hooked up accordingly! At first before i even tried to calibrate the throttel points it worked fine but the reverse stuck on, so i turned everything off and tried to calibrate the throttle points and nothing! I did everything as instructed on the instructions and nothing is happening. Im not evening getting any beeping at the motor! I have tried 3 different motors thinkin maybe that was it but all the same outcome! I reset the esc to default settings and tried the throttle points again and still nothing! Have i gotten a lemon esc or does anyone have any thoughts on this! Any input will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading!

What radio are you using?
Did you calibrate the ESC to the RX?

This needs to be done BEFORE working on the ESC settings.

For most ESC's, set the TX throttle epa to 100%, throttle trims to 0 and then do the calibration of the ESC.

Try calibrating reverse first as sometimes it is expecting the opposite signal.

Are you holding the calibration button in hard enough when you turn the ESC on to get into into the calibration mode? With some of the hobbywing escs the buttons only work when you try and push it through the back side of the esc.
Make sure you end points are set at about 110-120% if they are adjustable as well.

If that doesnt work, try reversing the throttle channel and attempt programming again...

If that still not happening for you its either going to a dodgy programming button on the esc (have had it happen before) or the whole esc has shite the bed.

Check all your connections to the motor (you haven't mentioned if you tried that) and if you have another motor try that. If it still doesn't fix it, i would say the esc is cactus.
