Default charger question....

so i have this charger.... TowerHobbies.com | SYTM1004 Sky RC Tech. iMax Quattro B6 4-Port Balancing Charger

it only came with 1 balance board i can use....
question is...do you have to use the balance board...it looks that the balance plug would plug straight into the balance board on the charger...does the balance board do anything or is it just an adapter type of deal...i don't know much about these things....thanks guys.

also another quick question....where can i get some charge leads with the banana connectors on the but bare wire on the other side so i can make my own leads...

Did you buy it used because they normally come with some kind of instruction sheet when purchased new?

If not then just download the manual from the link you posted.
