I have 4 crawlers, 2 sedans, a monster truck and a 2wd stadium truck that are running. No matter what you still get what you pay for. | |

If it makes you feel better about your little Pee Pee. Go ahead and spend the money on the WAY overpriced Futaba stuff. For me, can't beat the price of the GT3B radio, receivers, and the ability to hack it. |

I'm pretty stupid when it comes to electronics so want something that's gonna work right out of the box, I'm kinda weird that way. Regardless, I could care less what someone else has or wants I really like my 4PL and wouldn't trade it for any thing. OP asked "which should I buy" my opinion is 4PL.

Haters will hate. But no matter what the RC model, I've always had good luck with Futaba gear, so that's what I stick with. You get what you pay for sometimes. This is one of those times. |

USS.....not sure of your timeline, I am a Futaba fan, have been for 30+ years with no issues. Currently I run a 3PM-x in my 2.2 MOA, my son runs a 4PL in his 2.2 MOA. I am finding time to compare those 2 radios to a hacked GT3B (I started a thread here) to see what it is really like compared to these 2 Futaba radios. Thus far, I'm impressed by the GT3B, but have not done enough to give a real answer. I would say, for a crawler, I see no issues due to the slower rig speeds. But this is not a go/no go comment yet. Hopefully I will get time this weekend. |
