|  Tekin rs enclosed?
Planning on running an rs in a ratshack project box. Motor is possibly a novak 17.5 or speed passion 21.5 on an Axial tranny geared 14/54 32p with 3s2200mah40c packs. This is a scaler btw so packs possibly run back to back (read: longish runtimes). So what kinda experiences do any of you rs users have in scalers? I did a search and 'rs' is too short of a search term, fxr posts are about all that pops up. |

I have been running an Rs with a tekin redline 17.5 in a scaler for about 8 months with no problems what so ever.

It'll barely get warm running one of those motors. I'm running an RS pro with a Tekin Pro4 on 3s and unless I really get into it for awhile it doesn't get above 140 degrees. I don't have mine in a box or balloon or anything, but with a 17.5 or 21.5 it'll be fine unless you're running full throttle for 30 minutes at a time.
