Question rc4wd motors

Will the rc4wd motors work with lipo batteries and if so, what voltages?

Default Re: rc4wd motors

I ran them fine on 2s. I recently plugged in a 3s lipo and they ran. But they were giving off quite a few sparks from the brushes. I'm not too worried about it though. I don't expect a $10 motor to last forever.

I did a water break-in on mine months ago, because of the weird brush shape. I'm not sure how they do in stock form.
