Default Hitec 7954 sh problems

Have spent the last 2 days searching and cant find what i am looking for?

Month old 7954sh servo
Month old cc bec set at 6 volts
2 Month old AE-2 ESC
3s 3400 mah lipo

Running it on Friday it started lose all steering, then it started twitching and glitching bad! Get home start thinking maybe the ESC went bad on 3s so started troubleshooting esc works fine plugged in, bec links up to my castlelink just fine, plug servo in and it starts freaking out throttle starts going off by itself!!! unplug the servo it works just fine what could of happened to the servo to cause this problem?

Maybe i am overlooking a simple answer/solution or is my servo just shot???

Oh and are your TX batteries good?

Try witching the servo and esc on the rx. If the servo still twictchs from the throttle, something is wrong with the servo. I would check the servo lead wires to make sure they are ok. Is the servo wired directly from BEC to battery, or does the BEC poer the RX to 6v, and the servo runs off the RX?

Sorry the motor twitches and moves with just plugging the servo into the RX without even touching my TX, my BEC powers my RX and i have the red wire removed from the ESC

Had a 54 with a bad board that acted like that. It didn't effect the throttle but twitched so hard it shook the whole truck. Send it back to hitec for repair. Don't let them reset it and send it back, they did that to me and I had to send it back a month later. The board needs replaced.

have you tried TSC's advice and switch the esc to the steering port and the servo to the esc port and see if the servo esc still acts up?

I think we run these little things pretty hard, even though we think that we don't. I've toasted a few servos in my day, even in a 1.9.

Their turnaround is around 2 weeks. sometimes less.

I picked up one of these used with stripped gears and put new gears in...slapped in the wraith and upped the bec to 7v(bec wired to power the servo only) less then a hour on the rocks lost steering so closer look it acting like it wanted to steer but couldnt almost like wasnt enough power I could even grab the horn and turn it but it tried resist...got home checked gears didnt see any stripped did not see any so thought the board was gone. COntacted hitec said send it in they would fix it so did and got it yesterday free! form just says replaced a gear but no idea which one im thinking the one on the motor? SInce it was kinda trying to steer still maybe it was slipping to....turn around was less then 2 weeks.

And do they stick a plastic gear in a metal geared servo? Know they need a weak link but plastic? for a servo that can do 400oz?
