I have the opprotunity to buy a novak rooster crawler esc for cheap but am iffy because people say that they don't have the greatest dragbrake? Any thoughts?

i've had a rooster for three years now with no issues. Drag brake locks all 4 tires on carpet. Been running it on 3s for over a year. No smoke yet.
