Default Motor question

I have a stupid question. I am trying to find a motor for my new axial exo. I was going to go with a 4 pole motor. Is a 4 pole faster than a 2 pole. So if I was going to get a 4800kv 2 pole would it have the same speed as a 4800kv 4 pole?

Default Re: Motor question

The KV is the speed, only way the four pole might add speed is the extra torque allowing for bigger gearing.
