| 6v dig servo at 7.4v
Getting an 7950 soon. Running a cheap 6v servo for dig. Will 7.4 kill the servo even though it is only used when digging? Thank you for any help/comments

It will probably kill it only the once. Its not often a 6V rated servo can hack 7.4v. Lipos at full charge are also usually 4.2V per cell, so you will actually be putting over 8v thru at the start of the run. |

I would run an external CC 10A BEC direct to the steering servo, let the ESC BEC run the RX & dig servo. Problem solved. There is an easy way to do the direct power without cutting/soldering anything. |

It's got a bec wired directly to the servo. So the dig servo should be running off of the esc bec?

External BEC wired directly to the steering servo will let the ESC's internal BEC power everything else.
