| Tekin redline 13.5t (pt. # tt2252) size
Im thinking of switching to the tekin redline 13.5t motor and fxr esc. Im concerned about the size of the motor though. It is replacing the stock ax10 55t motor and I need the new motor to be either the exact same size or smaller. I have checked the specs and not sure what exactly to measure from so can somebody help me here on this please? Thanks in advance.

a.) Its brushless, it won't work with the fxr b.) This is a really fast motor, probably too fast for an ax10 c.)its close to the same size as a standard 540 |

Sizes are clearly labeled on Tekins website. Length:53mm/2.09" Diameter:25.85mm/1.41" Like LosiKid said, this motor is not compatible with the Tekin FXR as the FXR is only capable of running brushed motors and this is a sensored brushless motor. |

I typed the wrong esc so that's not that big a deal. Is the motor the same as a stock axial 55t motor? I've looked all over axial's website and I guess where they don't sell that car anymore they have Aiken the motor specs off as well. I put a caliper on it and measured the length of the body or can rather and came up with 48.85mm. Now I'm not sure I measured it in the right spot but on my chassis the outside of the can is what's hitting the side rail of a fastback II chassis.

I have no idea, you have the motor and calipers so why are you asking me? Brushless motors arent like brushed motors with the brush hood and endbell stepped down in size at the end, they are typically straight to the end of the given measurement. For length you should measure from the face where the motor bolts up to the furthest point from there. |
