Default Fxr ?

I have been running my tekin fxr for awhile. I stoped using it for about 3months while rebuilding a rig. I just got it dusted off and took it out yesterday. It seems that it has a reverse delay in forward. It has never done this before. Is it possible that the settings are off, I did realize I had it set on the controler to reverse throtle. Im going to rewire motor leads today and try that. My big ? was has anyone ever had the fxr reset its memory from sitting to long?? I cant check it right now because my kids put my hotwire away and by away I mean I cant find it..lol

Thanks

Sounds like it went back to factory defaults.
Yes, rewire it and take the "reverse" off the TX.

If you have the manual, I believe you can change almost everything without the HotWire, it's just a little harder.

Thanks.. One more question. I had it set to 3s lipo. Is that most likly reset also? and since Im kinda new to lipo's, is there a limit to the fxr on the c rating. I was running 3s 1300 25c, I just bought a 3s 2200 40c. I was just wondering so I dont let any of the magic smoke out.

thanks

The FX-R manual states what all the "factory defaults" are, so go through everything.

"C" rating is not in the ESC spec (except for possibly a MINIMUM rating), it is more performance related. You will be fine even if you put a 100C pack on the ESC.

Link to manual.... http://www.teamtekin.com/manuals/FXManual.pdf
Save a copy on your PC as well.
I have them for all my ESC's & programming cables. Makes it easier if I run into an issue out in the field, I don't need Internet access.
