Default 4pl and two FXr

Hi all,

I have a 4pl and two FXrs in my XR10.
I used Harley's guide to set it up.

Did some searches, couldn't find an answer.

I would like to give some negative exponential (to have a smoother start up) but if I go through "throttle" only one of the Rx is subjected to the change.
I can't program FXr as it is the Reverse type and not curve...

Could a bright mind enlighten me and tell me how to perform this on the 4pl?

Thanks in advance!

Just go into the throttle and channel 4 menus and adjust the expo to where you want it. Neg Expo just deadens the response arounf the neutral point.

You need to use the Hotwire to adjust throttle curves on the FXRs.

Sorry to be a pain, but there is no chan4 on the throttle menu, and no expf on chan 4 setup.

I only keep my throttle curves linear and never use expo.

I'm at work and don't have my radio handy.

Thanks for the help!
I'll keep searching...

I have some... heavy fingers, any help to alleviate this problem is good... my racers are all set with neg. exp. to compensate for my lack of subtlety
I thought I could do without with a crawler but nope... this is worst

OK now I remember.

You need to activate MXMD in the Advanced dual ESC menu. That mixes the throttle settings to channel 4, so it mixes channels 2 and 4 for all the throttle settings including expo.

I forget that programming this radio is so easy that you just set it and forget it.

Will that impact bias throttle?

I'll try this later, just had the worst thunder storm and my garage is flooded... half of the city is too...

I have no idea what you mean by bias throttle (must be a French thing) but MXMD will not have any effect on proportional throttle control. It just matches the settings you put in place on throttle in chaanel 2 to mix with channel 4 or they respond the same.

Wish I had known that. I wouldnt have sold my 4PL after using it twice. The reverse was horrible and I tried negitive expo only to have it act like a mix and slow down one esc and not the other.

Oh-well. I still prefer my DX3R anyway.
