| Matching Unmatched Motors
I bought 2 HH Torquemaster Pro 45T separately for my Spm and Scale, so they are not matched. Now I am thinking I might put them on my Pro MOA rig. Can they be matched by adjusting the timing using dynometer and swap rotation (on 1 of them)? Is there other things that need to be done to make them become "matched pair"? |

Just set them at the same timing after you rebuild them and you should be fine...use the same brushes, springs, etc when you rebuild them. If you want to get a little more precise on it, you could hook them up and match the amp draw...should get them even closer. As motors are used, the match becomes a lot more difficult to achieve, especially when they were not used together originally... Anything more than that requires different equipment and skills to match, depending on the system you are using to match them. Later EddieO |

Thanks. I am in Australia, so sending them back to US is deemed not feasible. Will make use of what we have here locally.
