| question on esc Traxxas - XL-2.5 ESC with LVD (#3024R) - Overview | traxxas.com u can get them on ebay for 25/35$$ it has what i need but on motor limit do i stay between 10/12t or nothing above or under 10/12 little confused |

No those are minimums. You cannot go under those turn counts in motors. You can run higher turns no problem. The lower the turn motor the more power they consume.

as mentioned above same thing applies with the XL-5. the motor limit tells you it can handle any number HIGHER than the limit. If you're using this in a scale rig, you may want to consider higher than 20 turn motors anyway....unless you're just looking for nasty speed. In which case keep in mind the motor limits on that particular ESC - 15t for 540 size motors and 12t for 550 size motors - |
