depends how much rpm vs. torque you want.
i run a tekin 35T HD motor in my ridgecrest and I love it. great mix of rpm and torque. it can pretty much climb vertically and go anywhere.
i recommend this motor, high quality and easily rebuildable.
there are lots of other good motors though. i think higher than 35T tends to be too slow to have much fun with it....for example 55T too doggy-slow IMO, but great for a comp crawler of course.
the traxxas titan motors are also nice for a wraith (e.g. 21T), however i would note that that 550 motor cans may have trouble fitting into the wraith unless some dremeling is done. i believe the space behind the motor plate is a bit tight on the wraith...i'm not 100% sure since I don't own one (just the ridgecrest which is essentially the same but shorter wheelbase).
the stock axial 20T motor is actually great IMO as well. more than sufficient speed (Actually too much for me, so geared it down).

great part about these brushed motors is that they cost almost nothing, so i like to experiment with them and often swap 'em around depending on what i'm doing that day...the rebuildable motors are considerably more expensive but if you're willing to take the time and rebuild them, they essentially last forever so it's worth the extra $.

here are some links to the motors i like in my AX10:

Thinking that you might have a budget to work with - go for the machine wound motors from Holmes Hobbies. I had a 27T in my Wraith and it is awesome. Only $35 if I'm not mistaken.
