Need new esc for mini summit / future car

I have a 1/16 Traxxas mini summit brushed and the 2.5lx esc is smoked. I need a new esc but am not sure what to get. I am running a Traxxas 2200mha 7.4 volt 25c lipo and the motor is a stock Titan 12T 550. I would like to get an esc that will work well in the mini summit but also transfer over to either an Axial Exo or Wraith when i decide to step up to a 10th scale model.

I agree ^^. I'm running an mmp minus the fan on my 1/16 Summit paired with a Novak 17.5 and its a great combo in it. You can run any motor your heart desires with this esc and if you want a versatile all terrain mini like I did you can run enough boost to get 40mph+ and still crawl/scale very well with the high turn sensored motor, all this on just 2s lipo.

I ran my mini summit with spare electronics i had laying around. A new 20t wraith motor, and an old AE-2 esc with 2s 40c Zippy lipos. it HAULED. the wraith motors are 20$ in a hobby shop, ae-2 is free from an old rtr, or 45$ from a hobby shop. Just make sure you shim your diffs!

I appreciate the all the help fellas. I think I'm going to get the MMP and run it with the titan 12t. Ill worry about a new motor later. For now I really just want to get my mini summit up and running and have my first piece towards my future Axial EXO build. Thats when I will worry about a motor.
