what is the best brushless crawling system for a wraith? im building somthing that i can crawl slow with, but then really get on it in the open. ive been leaning towards the tekin pro 4, or redline motors, but idk what speed control to get, and idk what turn to get. please help me and let me know what sensored brushless system you guys are running or have heard are good so i have more options, also i need the esc to fit under the hood with a battery and reciver. Thanks! |

+1 on the MMP, I run one with a ReVtec 21.5t Censored and its good but could use a little more wheel speed. So I would bet something like a 18t Motor would be good.

I have the MMP with the tekin pro4 3300 in mine. The low end is nice and it has some nice speed when I want to play fast.

Pro4 with a MMP...I've got the MMP mounted between the shock hoops on the front and the battery in front of the windshield.

I've been running a MMP1C and 17.5T Xcelorin in my Wraith and am quite happy with the setup.

Just to throw another option out- The xerun 120a or Brushless Hobbies 120a (best low budget esc) are also great 3s max options to pair with any of the above mentioned motors. A nice bonus to going with one of these over an mmp is the bec's are much stronger from my experience. I own all the mmp, rx8, xerun v2.1 and 150a sensored esc's and the xerun units are the only ones I can run with digital high torque servos without an external bec or cap.. I also really like the Hobbywing LCD field programmer over the others.

hey I bought an axial wraith and I would like to get more speed out of it, I was thinking on the mamaba 6900kv 4 pole motor and some gears 21p and 80 spurs gear. Can that work??? its just out of the box and all plastic, what should I change and where to buy the upgrades for my crawler??? Please help me out cuz I am kind of new for tha axial wraith here.
