axial ae-2 stopped working

Ok so last night i finished up putting my electronics in the radio shack box..

so before i put everything away... i was able to drive around... fwd/rev and steer..

this morning i went to play around... and i have steering but no go..

now when i plug the battery in I do not hear the usual beep startup from the esc... did it go on me already????

i basically put a volt meter on each lead from the esc.. and hit the trigger.. no voltage... so esc fried??? weird...

now i have to figure out if i have to go through axial or hobbywearhouse for warranty... as i just got it....

well gonna cut the grass...

Mess with your throttle trim on the transmitter. Turn it either direction a small way (or center it if it isn''t) to find the "neutral" position.

The ESC needs to see a neutral state for a certain amount of time before it arms and will function normally. If it didn't let out smoke, then chances are your ESC is still good.

u hit it on the head.. however.. the throttle needs to be set to 0.. not centered.. i had it centered and it wouldnt go... sheeze..
set it far one way now runs...

With that being the case, I would go through the set up procedure again just to make sure you are reaching full throttle in both directions with the situation that you ran against.

Takes only about 15 seconds anyway.

yeah im gonna have to do that.. it does seem like the truck didnt have the oomph it had before...between working on the house and working late.. havent had any time but i will try tonight..

i do know that if I turned the throttle trim all the way counter clockwise.. the truck would then sync and drive... if i started to go clockwise it would trim too much and start to drive on its own... so you say it should be able to be set to 50%.... hmmmm is this a setting in the castle link software?
