I have been running one on my honcho for about 3 months now with 2S lipo and it seems to do pretty good! Decent wheel speed and torque for an inexpensive motor.

I run a 35t Integy with 78/24 gearing on 3s LiPo crawls really good and it's not sluggish at all.

If you have the stock one I don't think you can run 3s but I don't know. If you run 2 motors you will have more power but it isn't going to go faster, unless you re-gear it.

If it's an RTR vehicle, as in "ready to run" then yes your truck came with a motor, ESC, servo, TX/RX. No the Integy motor won't come with a ESC, but your current ESC shouldn't have a problem running it. Can you tell us which ESC it is you have? AE-1 or AE-2? Also, what type of batteries are you running?

All that aside, I am running an Integy 35t on 2S Lipo with 87/20 gearing and it works very well for me.

and btw, if you go higher in turns to 35t from the stock 27t, the car is actually going to be slower, unless you regear and give it more juice.

well then, you are most certain going to have to buy a non handwound motor, as those go over $60, but you can get a good motor from holmes hobbies.
