Really? Come on, I typed in LRP AI Runner Reverse in Google and this was the very first thing on the page. LRP - A.I. Runner Reverse No LVC mentioned and 18 turn single motor limit. Last edited by Scattman; 09-06-2012 at 08:59 AM. |

Team Associated website has the V2 model listed with absolutely no mention of an LVC. If you're going to run a LiPo, you'll need an LVA. Tower lists the minimum as a 16 turn motor, so if you're running dual motors, best make sure they're both 35 turns or higher. |

Low voltage alarm is cheap. Just plug it into the balance plug and set alarm for your cell count and voltage/cell you want to get to. I like 3.4v/cell because the ESC and alarm will still let it get lower. I've actually had it get down to 3.0/cell with a setup like that before.

I haven't used that one. I have the integy one that has the little display on it for voltage. I use it now when I comp to see if the battery still has enough juice in it for another run.

Thank you I saw that site.as well just didn't make sense of it....so I can run lipo just need to retro a low voltage alarm. Is there a max cell count? Or voltage? And I am running 2 integy motors I believe they are 55t or 65t. Could that be the reason there is a noticeable lag when I tried to accelerate?

So that page says 4,5 and 6 cells I am assuming that doesn't mean lipo....? Also says 4-7.2v does that answer my other question?

A fully charged 6 cell NiXx is somewhere around 8.7-9.0 volts. A fully charged 2S LiPo is around 8.2 volts. You'd be just fine with a 2S. 3S would be a gamble. I personally think it'd be okay to go 3S with an external BEC, but not without. I could be wrong, though. |

Your LRP ESC will go pop on 3S, I tried it on mine and it went up straight away. I have three in cars for the kids, they are great simple ESC's, but they do have a slight lag if you put them under strain in something that needs alot of power to start moving (MT's, 4wd buggies etc). They are fine in lightweight cars, I have mine in TA01's and M03's with 21 and 23t motors where they are faultless
