Ax 10 modded Motor???

I have a AX 10 with a custom chassis 55t motor, od/ud gears, 14t pinion, 87t spur. I want more burst/ speed so I put a 19t spur on and it helped for the slick mess we have here. I want more power and burst for the hill killin when I need it. I still have the stock ESC. I dont want to get real complicated with programming ESC's and such but I want one that has lipo protection. So with that all said can I have the best of both worlds a motor the has power to crawl but also has hill killing abilitys?

always made a big difference in that umph for me while racing by switching from a say 25c cont. with 40c burst to a say 35-40c cont with 65c burst.

maybe go with a more powerful batt. not bigger but more power.

and stick with elecs. n motor youve got

X2...........John has some great options for motors. Just get ahold of him and tell him what you are wanting out of a motor and he will be able to narrow it down for ya. I run a 35T handwound in my SCX on 3S and it's got the punch and some nice speed for what I need it for.

Eddie is also a great builder on here. Give him a shout he will hook you up with a nice 30t that I like alot or maybe even a 35t. Both John and Eddie are great builders on here. Send them both a pm and see what they tell you.
