Thats a good question. I have some on order, and I will be running them with 35T brood motors. I don't think I would want to go much lower then 35t. I am not even sure they are meant to be used with 540 sized cans, so any minimum turn recommendation from Castle might not apply to the crawler application. Actually on their site, they don't really offer a max amp, or minimum turn.

I always fall back to monitoring heat, and adjusting gearing. I'll no more when i actually get mine wired in and running

Castle really doesn't show brushed minimum turns easily for most of their ESC's.

I know I found a page once, but it was a fluke.

I would have no issues running ~30T or higher brushed on 3S, single motor on a single ESC.

You may go into the mid/upper 20's for turns as well, but that may be pushing it.
If you wanted to run low turn motors, I would likely suggest the Mamba Micro Pro since it has the heatsink on it. Otherwise, it's a Sidewinder Micro.
