Default Too quick? Not enough tourqe?

Hey guys.

So I acquired a new MOA crawler, it has 2 x 50t brushed motors which are great and torquey however I have no ESC for them now. My batteries are all 3S and its hard to find dedicated brushed speed controllers for a good price. (i am on a budget here.)

So I have been looking at brushless systems, I really am getting bored of the blue EZrun systems so I looked at the SKYRC ORANGE system, but the lowest Kv is 3000kv...

Is this going to be too fast/not enough torque?

Cheers

Craig

Are you saying a brushed ESC is more expensive then a complete brushless system?

Trying to find one that is compatible with 3S, I am struggling to find other than going for something like a sidewinder, but the ESC alone is more expensive than a SKYrc system (motor and ESC)

Dual CC Sidewinder Micros.....they do well on my 3S 35T brushed motors.

Lots of adjustments, great drag brake, etc.

Used is an option if you want.

My guess is that the brushless system you are considering is also unsensored...If that is the case it will be utterly useless for crawling anything. For MOA at least for the time being brushed is the answer.

x2 on micro sidewinder. 3s on dual ESC 35T on my xr no problem and I also ran a single unit on my spm on 3s with a 45T motor without any issue.

For dual ESC brushed setup, any combination using CC (Micro SW, SW SV2, Micro MP), FXR, BRXL with HH or Brood motor would be awesome. They all take 3s no problem.

Would 2 of those "Garage Sale" Gen 1 Sidewinders work? $80 for 2 escs that can handle 3s and both brushed and brushless motors sure ain't bad. Plus gobs of adjustability with the CL.

Hey guys.

Thanks for the advice.

My main issue which I should really have mentioned is the budget.

I am limited to £50 and availability of CC is somewhat limited in the UK but if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be MORE than grateful!

Sure does. Many people said the original sidewinder is better that the SV2.
