| Chassis as the ground???
Does anyone see any problems if I were to use the chassis rail (scx10) as the ground? I have two leds I want to install at the back of my truck but I am not keen on having a bunch of wire going from the front to the back as the chassis is stretched. This way all I will have to do is run one wire (positive) to the back. Any thoughts on this? Have you done it before? Thanks |

I've never done it in an RC. Yes, it's the "typical" method in 1:1's. Would it work? Yes. Should you do it? Could be. Just make sure no other wires (that are "hot") hit the chassis. This includes motor wires. I would "prefer" to use wires for a ground/return line, NOT the chassis. |
