Default How do you keep your electronics cool?

As it states how do you keep your electronics cool, or what's the best way to keep them cool. Specifically esc and motor(s).
I'm running a moa super with a 3s lipo and my motors and esc get hotter than I'd like them to. Motors and esc are stock exceed stuff (stoc esc and 540 60t motors), but it's what I can afford right now.
So do the motor heat sinks work? If so how well.
And or the esc, it has a heat sink already on it and it still gets hot. Are there any universal esc fans out there?

Try and regear the motor's , and they do make esc cooling fans.

As old man said... regear. heat sinks on the motor should work OK. Hobbypartz sells some fans for cheap.

exceed sucks. When they blow up, get a side winder, or a holmes brxl.

Alright I'll take it to a LHS tomorrow and see what they have for pinion gears and fans.
The original plan was to go brxl but funds aren't allowing that right now. So I'm getting everything separate (bec and lipo cutoff) so I want to get an esc that doesn't have everything built in eventually.

Like John Holmes says, "Volt up, gear down"

I don't know about gearing down, I'm running a 12t pinion gear right now and I already get lots of clodstall. If anything I was hoping to be able to get a higher toothed pinion gear. Might just have to get better motors.

I figured out what I'm going to do. My motors at 60t with a 12t pinion gear, I'm going to get some 35-40t motors with probably 20t pinion to keep them cool.

Faster motors (lower turns) AND a larger (higher tooth count) pinion??!!
Not the combination I would have suggested if the ESC & motor are already running hot.

If I put an 11t or 10t on my current motor I'll have so much clodstall I won't be able to climb anything.
The thought being with the lower turn motor and higher tooth pinion is the motor won't be spinning as fast to go the same speed. Therefore the motor will stay cooler. I think the 60t just doesn't like the volts of the 3s lipo.
I'll also put a fan on the esc, eventually I'll get a different esc all together.

Never mind, I was thinking backwards.
Do you guys think if I put in an 11t or 10t pinion gear it'll be better and I'll have less clodstall?
