Default Wraith Motor/ESC Question

What are your thoughts about using the Traxxas Velineon Extreme Brushless Waterproof Power System in the Wraith?

Velineon VXL-3s ESC;
Auto-detects and compatible with brushed, brushless and sensored brushless motors
Compatible with NiCd, NiMH (4-10 cells) and 2-3 cell LiPo battery
packs-two stage low voltage detection for LiPos
Three driver profiles-Sport, Race and Training Modes
Gold-plated motor connectors
Built-in output for optional auxiliary cooling fan
Velineon 3500 Brushless Motor;
10-turn 3500kV
Optimized for extreme power and efficiency in 1/10 scale vehicles
Ultra high temp neodymium magnets, high-speed ball bearings
Precision balanced rotor

What gearing would you recommend as well?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I should have specified that I'm looking to built more of a trail basher. More toward speed but still have some crawl.

i put that same traxxas combo in my wraith and just as quickly took it out again it was fast but it didnt crawl worth a damn. i had the stock gearing out of a slash 4x4. i was running 2s lipos on it. i didnt like it personally but if you already have the traxxas set up...switch it up and see how you like it. it doesn't take long to switch em back if ya dont like it!

Thanks folks for the advice. I think I'll look at the other set-ups over the Traxxis.
