Default Castle bec help

Hello, I'm building a wraith right now and so far for electronics I have a Holmes tourqemaster 35t and Holmes Brxl. I'm going to order a decent servo and a castle bec.

My question is, do I need to order the castle programming kit too? Or is it pre set to a certain voltage already? I run 2s lipos, thanks

From the factory it comes set at 5.1V. I know Holmes will set it to whatever you want on his site for an additional charge ($2.50) The castle link is nice to have though.

Ok thanks, I've never used one... So the link just plugs into the computer for adjusting? And is it somewhat easy to adjust? I'm a computer Moron.

Yes you are correct....plug in and adjust. By the way you can also use the castle link on that BRXL to adjust its settings. Its worth the $, IMO

USB into the computer, three prong end into the esc or bec. Extremly easy to use. The adjustment screen on your pc is very straight forward.

You can also get a field link so you can adjust the basic settings without the computer. It also comes with the cord to plug into the computer to access all the other settings just link the standard link.
