Default Long/extending brushless ESC battery wires...

My project truck is getting to the electronics phase and I've hit a snag, I need to run two batteries, one at each end of the truck (big ole thing) will lengthening the battery wires on the ESC upset anything?

Both batts will be 2s to give a total of 4s, the motor is an 1/8th scale 2000kv Hobbywing with 150amp ESC.
I just want to check before I start cutting things up, as I've read that fast RC boats don't like long wires, so wanna make sure there's nothing bad gonna happen here. I know boats pull big amps etc unlike our stuff but worth asking the question all the same

Cheers!

Since you aren't building an amp hungry go-fast rig you shouldn't have a problem, just don't skimp out on wire size.

I think 12ga is more than enough, even allowing for longer lengths.
