I'm a newbie to rc crawling.I'm looking to upgrade my rs10xt's 390 motors to 540 motors.I want motors with decent speed and alot of torque. My question is what does the turns have to do with torque and speed? If I wanted more torque would I go with a higher motor turn or a lesser turn?55 versus 27 turns.

More turns = more torque, less speed. Less turns - more speed, less torque. You can make up for a little either way with battery voltage (more voltage = more speed) or gearing. There are limits on voltage & gearing though. |

He's asking about an MOA. The only gearing change options available for that truck are different pinions. | |
