Default Motor break in

Sorry NOOB, to break in a new motor you need to run it at 3v for 5-10 minutes. So how do you get 3v to the motor? Not sure how to run only 3v...

2 c batteries wire in series is 3 volts...

Some battery chargers have a "motor break-in" voltage setting.
Yes, run it for ~10 minutes no load.

Do NOT use a "water break-in"!!!!

I just did it with two d-cells taped together. Ran great with no apparent voltage drop over a 10 minute span.

I just plug in a charged lipo and run the snot out of it. In the car of course. Haven't had any problems yet.
