Default Brushed motor capacitors

I recently purchased a Novak Fifty Five. I searched and searched and finally found info on here for what springs and brushes to rebuild it with. But i have one problem.. I know when it was new, it comes with 3 capacitors installed from the factory. Mine has no capacitors on it. Does it require these or not... If so, does anyone know what capacitors they are, or were to get them.... Thanks In Advance

Those Capacitors are for AM/FM Radio interference only. If you are running a 2.4 Radio you don't need them, if you are using an AM or FM Radio you need them to reduce radio interference.

OP....there are a couple of recent threads discussing what caps to use. Also, yes, you don't "need them" if running 2.4ghz, but they also DON'T hurt anything.
It may also reduce issues with others running close to you that do have a AM or FM radio.

There is also a stickie in this forum on motors that cover caps on motors.

BTW, some caps are actually on a small PC board on the end of the motor, thus easy to miss.
